Trucks on the road!
Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet Link!
I can't believe that we are celebrating your second birthday already. You are growing so fast and I sometimes wish time would just stand still. You really keep us on our feet....usually at a sprint. Your favorite game to play is hide-n-seek! Its funny to watch you be the seeker and the hider all at once...it puts a smile on our face every time. When you hide you yell out, "where are me"? ...and you usually jump out before we can even come find you. Seeing the way the world spins through your eyes is truly amazing.

We celebrated your birthday with all of our family and Friends at "Pump It Up"! You loved it and I know everyone enjoyed themselves very much! The theme was, "Trucks on the Road". Its your favorite book....you read it to daddy and I all the time. Trucks, machines at work to be specific, are all you play with at the moment. Oh and of course anything musical. Daddy and I really think you have an ear for music. RY and CP got you a new drum set for your birthday. You and daddy rock out on it EVERYDAY! You even start it off by yelling out..1..2..1234, and you end your rock session by saying,"party's over" and throwing your drum sticks into the air! Such a true rocker. You're getting really good on your "tow truck" tricycle. You still aren't comfortable with the pedals but you "Fred Flinstone" like a pro!

Happy Birthday my sweet angel....we love you with all of our heart!

Ist day of school
Linkoln started his first day at Chapel Hill School about a month ago. Ms. Donna and Ms. Kelly are his teachers and hearing him say their names will melt your heart. For the most part he walks right in ready to play with his Friends, but we have had some challenging mornings. On Monday mornings we go to a Mommy and Me Music Class before I drop him off....he is slowly getting the hang of it. The other day he told Daphne (a girl in his class), "just a dab do ya". I guess Ms. Donna uses that phrase a lot, (Just a little dab will do you)... he is a quick one;). This semester should be filled with lots of fun...we have the Fall Festival and Thanksgiving just around the corner!

Down time at the lake
During the fall and winter months is truly the best time to be at the lake. It's almost like a ghost town. We really get to enjoy each others company and find fun and creative ways to stay entertained. Our days are filled with Link and our late nights are filled with wine, cigars and our BFF's!

Zoo
Woo-Hoo-The Zoo! Daddy and I finally took Link to the zoo. It was the perfect day... no crowds, cool weather and precious memories! The Monkey's and the Lions/Tigers were his favorite....mine would have to be watching Link with the penguins and getting attached by all the birds.... Good Times!:)

Summer at Pk
Sun, boat rides, family and fun = Summers at the lake. We had an awesome summer....even though it felt like it flew by. Linkoln loves to repeat, "boat ride daddy" all the way down to the lake. He gets so excited as soon as he sees the water. We had fun tubing, wake boarding, watching fireworks, eating good food and making lasting memories. We truly are blessed to have a spot where we can come and relax, enjoy each other and reflect on the joys that surround us.
