First Family Trip

We just got back from our 1st family trip. We spent a week in Maui and I think none of us were ready to come home. Linkoln did amazing on the flight...we had several people applaud him for his wonderful big boy behavior (he totally earned $5 for his piggy bank). He had a few first while on vacation. Besides the plane ride he has sat in a restaurant highchair, went swimming in a pool, put his toes in the sand, let the waves crash against his feet and aloud someone other than mommy to put him to bed:( Nana & Poppy joined us and we all had a wonderful time. I love my little family...I have memories and pictures that I will forever cherish! I can't wait to go back and I'm sure my parents can't either....thank you again so much for everything that you did to help us out...we love you mom and dad! xoxo

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME!!!!

Wow...my very first Mother's Day. This morning we woke to the sound of the waves crashing in and Linkoln cooing to daddy and I. Today is our 1st full day in Maui and we are all very excited to start our day. I feed Link his cereal out on the balcony while Daddy and I ate our $20 breakfast (2 redbulls & 2 muffins..lol) We then went on the 1st of many morning walks on the beach, where Link was ever so sweetly soothed to sleep by the sound of the waves. As we walked I reflected back a year ago. I was only 3 months prego & loving every minute of it. The love that I thought I would have for Linkoln then doesn't even compare to way I feel today. I truly did not know I could love someone this much! He totally completes the missing piece that I had been longing to fill. He melts my heart & makes me smile when I need it most. This is a great day and I have two wonderful people to share it with!
