Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone! Linkoln had a great morning. We opened gifts and then had our world famous Christmas morning breakfast. Our day was extremely busy, but who's wasn't:) We will all be in bed early tonight!;)

Christmas Eve

Last minute shopping, pouring down rain, Church, dinner at our house with Nana and Poppy, watched "How the Grinch stole Christmas", sang Happy Birthday to Jesus totally naked and put out reindeer food and cookies for Santa Claus! It was a wonderful night....Service was amazing and spending an evening full of tradition is priceless!

A low key birthday is just what a wanted! My boys took me out to dinner and we relaxed all weekend. Pure Bliss:)

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Link

What a big boy I have. We are so very blessed to have such a happy, funny and handsome little man. We had a great morning singing happy birthday and celebrating over breakfast. After school we went straight to the store to buy his "Super Streak"! In the back seat he was clinching the bag of pacifier's. At one point he had one in his mouth and two more in his hand. I guess he was giving it one more go. Here is L right before we went into the store!Ok, so this was the last picture with my good camera. It completly went out on me and I had to send it back to Cannon...again....I cried:( Thanks goodness we had the camera phone...Go Iphone! Still happy....but not for long. I clearly didn't have a chance in the world to capture "Link's Moment", but he totally wanted to give the "Super Streak" back and get his pacifier's! It was heart breaking but we never looked back!

Later that evening Nana and Poppy came over for dinner and cake. Linkoln requested a football cake.....soooo I made it happen. Homemade and all! He is such a big boy and a true light in our life. His humor is just like his daddys and his love for music is ever so growing. He loves to play his guitar like Keith Urban and bust a move like Usher!. I'm hoping that we chill out a little in our 3's, but I really don't think thats going to happen. He loves to pretend that he is a fighting pirate or the mad beast. Trains are his passion at the moment and he still adores Max and Ruby! Swimming and Gymnastics are going great and he loves going to school! We Can't wait to see what God has planned for his life. Bye-Bye Pacii's

Link's 3rd birthday is tomorrow and he still sleeps with a pacifier. Lately he has even requested to take it out of his room once he wakes up (which is a big no-no). What to do? So after talking to his doctor and my bff we decided that we would trade in his pacifiers for something he really wants. Linkoln is really into "Little Critter" books right now and in the "Just So Thankful" book little critter really wants this super streak scooter that his friend has. Now this particular scooter is no where to be found but my son wants it badly. So there you go...that's what we will trade it in for.

We did the research and I found one that would do the trick. I even had a tag made up for it that reads "Super streak". I hope this is a great forever favorite birthday gift and an awesome parting ways gift from his pacifiers. Wish us luck!!

Lilly & Melinda's Baby Shower

Mel came in town for her baby shower this week and I couldn't be more excited to spend time with her! We celebrated her birthday, Link's Birthday and of course the up-coming birthday of Miss. Lilly! She had an amazing group of family and friends to help share in her joy! We have been best friends since the 4Th grade and i love her more and more everyday! We love each other, understand each other and support each other. Our friendship means the world to me and I'm so happy and ready for you to be a mom! xoxo

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for my amazing family. I"m thankful that we are all healthy and happy. I'm thankful that we all live very close to one another and that holiday's are always a special time for us all.

Captin Link's party

So this year I decided to do his party early. With a holiday weekend birthday it is always so crazy to plan, attend and enjoy a party. L is really into pirates at the moment. Never mind the fact that I have been planning for 3 months on a fireman themed party...the boy gets..what a boy wants. So pirates and planks it is! We clearly have NO backyard unless everyone is down for a pool party in the fall, so the location hunt began. I totally took the idea from a good friend of mine and locked down "My Gym"! I needed a place where the kids could run around like crazy swash buckling pirates without a lot of rules and restrictions. The party was a hit. The staff was awesome and let me do anything my little, insane, over the top Brain could possibly think of. I love planning for stuff like this but I somehow ALWAYS get stressed and freaked out about something...its just who I am. Thank the good Lord that I have a wonderful mom and awesome best friend. Without them I would have never completed any of it. Linkoln had a great time sword fighting his friends (his favorite pass time) and eating the YUMMO cake. Mel had a special day with her little man and invited us to join in a play date! We started off the day with a yummy breakfast then made a run for children's museum. We all had a great time. Linkoln passed out before we left the parking garage:)
